From your Rector,
Church is on for tomorrow! Holy Eucharist is at 8:30 a.m. and
10:30 a.m. at St. Alban’s, 1:30 p.m. at St. Patrick’s, and 5:00 p.m at Iglesia
Episcopal La Esperanza de Familias Unidas.
Our Wednesday Eucharist and Supper at St. Patrick’s is on as
well. Holy Eucharist begins at 6:00 p.m. and supper will follow in Dandridge Hall.
Those not feeling well, those who are older, those with compromised
immune systems, and those who are uncomfortable in any way should stay home. We will
miss you and pray for you.
We will disinfect surfaces, wash hands, not pass the collection
plates, and wave or bow at the peace – all per our Bishop’s instructions. We
will also receive communion in one kind – bread only – administered by the clergy.
We are not at risk of exceeding the Governor’s directive of
no gathering greater than 250 people. Our largest crowd might be 70 – 80, but I
expect as things are - we will have smaller numbers.
As I said before, I say again - I so appreciate Bishop
Jake's care and leadership on this issue. We will follow his directives. My
directive to you is - pray for one another, be kind when you are out in public
(people are anxious, so kindness matters), love your family! We are in this
together.
With my love and prayers for you all,
Whit+
