We received word from Audrey King of the death of her husband Alan. The two served at St. Alban's from 1960 to 1964. Please remember Father King and his family in your prayers.
An article about Father King can be found here.
Let others hear some stories if you remember Father King and Audrey's time at St. Alban's!

Another Great Wednesday...
Great Wednesday night Lenten Eucharist and supper at St. Thomas' Episcopal Church. Monroe's newest Episcopal priest, Fr. Richard Norman, gave a great sermon about the five marks of mission.
In case you missed it - here they are from the Episcopal Church's website...
The Five Marks of Mission
The Mission of the Church Is the Mission of Christ
~ To proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom
~ To teach, baptize and nurture new believers
~ To respond to human need by loving service
~ To seek to transform unjust structures of society, to challenge violence of every kind and to pursue peace and reconciliation
~ To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth
