Save the dates for the Workshop of Wonders!

Join all our area Episcopal Churches in the Workshop of Wonders, this year’s Vacation Bible School. Mark your calendar for the dates of Sunday, June 22 through Thursday, June 26 (5 days) each evening from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church. Supper is provided.

Our Vacation Bible School is open for children from Kindergarten through 5th Grade (6th grade and up will be helpers!). More information to come soon!

Holy Eucharist begins at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Adult Education Class is at 9:15 a.m. And there is always good coffee!

Rogation Suday in Oak Ridge

May 25, The Sixth Sunday of Easter, is also Rogation Sunday - It is a big day for Church of the Redeemer in Oak Ridge. They are our partners in the Episcopal Mission of Northeast Louisiana. I hope that St. Alban's will send representatives to celebrate with the folks in Oak Ridge on that day!

Life Changing

The news is not that we are puppets...

The message that God forgives us and loves us just as we are is so radical and so life changing that most of us have trouble believing it. That is why the first followers of Jesus called it “Good News.” The Church at its best proclaims this Good News, at its worst, we water it down with conditions and requirements trading the Good News for religion. When we do, God is not that different than any of us. Proclaim the Good News!
